Child Safety Standards

Effective date: October 5, 2026  ·  Applies to https://uficonnect.org

1. Our commitment

UFIConnect has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE"). We do not permit content, behaviour, or use of the Service that sexualises, endangers, or exploits minors, under any circumstances. This page describes what we prohibit, how to report a concern, and what happens after you report one.

2. Who can use UFIConnect

UFIConnect is a professional networking platform intended for users who are at least 13 years old (16 in the EU/EEA/UK), and who meet any higher local minimum age, consistent with our Terms of Service. It is not directed at children and is not designed or marketed to appeal primarily to minors.

3. What we prohibit

The following are never allowed on UFIConnect, without exception:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, real or synthetic (including AI-generated)
  • Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to solicit a minor
  • Sexualisation of minors in images, text, or any other content
  • Content or behaviour that otherwise endangers a minor's physical or psychological well-being
  • Using the Service to contact, recruit, or arrange to meet a minor for an exploitative purpose

4. How to report a concern

Open the "•••" menu on a profile, comment or post, choose Report, and select "Child safety concern" as the reason. Reports filed under this reason are recorded in the review queue as child safety concerns. Review is not an emergency response service.

If you can't access the in-app report option, or a child is in immediate danger, email support@uficonnect.org directly. In an emergency, contact local law enforcement first. In the United States, you can also report CSAE material directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org.

5. What happens after you report

  • Child safety reports are identified for priority review. The team may request more information to locate and assess the concern.
  • Confirmed violations can lead to content removal and account suspension or termination. Source platforms control removal of their own original content.
  • Where required by law, we cooperate with law enforcement and report apparent CSAE violations to NCMEC or other appropriate authorities.
  • Report details are handled for review and safety purposes and may be disclosed when necessary for investigation or required by law.

Do not download or forward suspected abuse material to us. Send the content link, account name and a brief description without reproducing the material. You can follow up or appeal a restriction through the reporting and appeals process.

6. Contact

To report a concern, ask a question about this policy, or follow up on a report you've already filed, email support@uficonnect.org.
